Booking

Students attending ZOOOM by Patch Theatre of Australia at Comstock Auditorium.

2025-2026 Booking

The ticket request process for all EFA works of art will occur in two phases:

  1. A three-day Priority Booking window for classes participating in the Aesthetic Education and/or PACE Programs (Tuesday-Thursday, September 16-18);
  2. EFA Presents! Booking for all other classes (starts Tuesday, September 23).

Booking Dates by Program

  • Priority Booking | Runs Tuesday-Thursday, September 16-18, 2025: Classrooms that participate in a Teaching Artist residency program, such as Aesthetic Education or PACE, are eligible for Priority Booking for tickets related to their residency. All residency-related ticket requests must be submitted during the three-day Priority Booking phase.
  • EFA Presents! Booking | Starts Tuesday, September 23, 2025: To participate, one person from each school or grade level team should contact Deb Strickland at (269) 250-9393 by Friday, September 19 to request online booking access. All EFA Presents! ticket requests are processed on a first-come-first-served basis until tickets sell out. Because works of art tend to sell-out quickly, EFA suggests booking as soon as possible.

Important Booking Reminders

  • Eligibility: EFA does not provide tickets to individuals, families, or non-eligible schools/groups. Attendance is limited to public and private schools served by EFA. This includes K-12 schools, special education programs, and, occasionally, PreK classrooms within the districts of Climax-Scotts Community Schools, Comstock Public Schools, Galesburg Augusta Community Schools, Gull Lake Community Schools, Kalamazoo Public Schools, Parchment School District, Portage Public Schools, Schoolcraft Community Schools, and Vicksburg Community Schools.
  • Wait Lists: EFA encourages schools to take advantage of the wait list option if works of art sell out. Many schools are able to attend through the active wait list system.
  • Limited Adult Admissions: EFA typically limits adult admissions to one for every ten students. EFA, however, encourages schools to bring enough adults to adequately supervise students and ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests. Teachers may request extra adult tickets during booking due to behavior concerns or to accommodate special needs requests, such as students being accompanied by parapros or sign-language interpreters. Contact EFA for more information.
  • Cancelling or Changing Your Reservations: It is important to contact EFA to cancel or change your reservations at least four weeks prior to the event. Repeated late-cancellations without cause may result in a booking penalty in future years.

EFA Wins Arts Innovation Award

In May, EFA was recognized with the Arts Schools Network 2024 Arts Innovation Award. Designed to recognize schools committed to taking innovative artistic risks, this award is presented to a school that has “broken the mold” in using the arts as a vehicle for teaching academics and/or making a positive difference in the lives of students and/or the community.
